How do I make initial payments to Bonanza?
You may handover the cheque to our representative at the time handing over the registration documents. You may also deposit the same in our account through the Internet (if you have opted for the Net Banking Facility ) or you may deposit cheque in our account in the regular manner, at any nearest branch of HDFC Bank, UTI Bank, & also with ICICI Bank, under intimation to us.
How do I get my user ID and passwords?
On completion of the registration formalities, Your User ID and passwords will be mailed to you.
The password will be system generated and sent in a secure sealed cover. No one, not even the employees of Bonanzaonline.com, will ever see your passwords. Our system stores passwords in an encrypted form.
What if I forget my password?
You will be required to answer certain questions to prove your identity, when you contact your nearest Bonanzaonline branch. You may also email us at feedback@bonanzaonline.com. This is to prevent malafide requests and misuse of your account. When you have proven your identity, your old passwords will be immediately deactivated, and we will generate new passwords and mail it to you in a secure sealed cover.

It is very important to note that you will be required to mention your T-Pin number (T-pin Number will be mailed to in sealed envelope once your account is activated) at the time of requesting for trade through this set up. Without the T-Pin Number your request to execute trades or square off trades will not be carried by our Call-N-Trade Desk.
Can I buy shares of any value?
In case of Delivery based transactions, the value of shares which you can buy will be limited to the extent of the margin/cash amount deposited by you.
Your limit will updated on real time bases and will be visible to you online on your terminal once the order has been placed.
In case your order value exceeds you limit, the order will be automatically rejected by the system.
You may utilize the Net Banking Facility and immediately transfer the shortfall displayed and execute the trade.
What would be my Margin trading limits and exposure limits?
In case of intra-day trading transactions your exposure limit will be your trading limit. An exposure limit is the limit of value of transaction which you may be allowed to execute on a particular day. You will be allowed an exposure of up to 5 times the value of cash margin (Security deposit) in case of Bonanza-Value and 7 times the in case of Bonanza-Max.
For example: If you give us Rs 1000 as margin, you will be allowed an exposure of up to Rs. 5,000 and Rs 7,000 in case of Bonanza-Value and Bonanza-Max respectively.
It is important to note that you ensure that any open positions are squared off by the end of the Day.
The Mark to Market loss should not at any time exceed the amount of cash balance in your account with us. The Mark to Market is total of your net loss for the transaction you have squared up and the notional loss of the position you are yet to square up (calculated on real time based on the prevailing market price).
Our executive will call you up to update you about the position when Mark to Market loss against your position reaches 75%, 85% and 90% expiry of your limit. Care must be taken that until such time you have squared up your position for the day.
Once Mark to Market loss against your position reaches 90%, if you have not squared up your open transaction, despite of our earlier alerts if you, our surveillance executive shall take decision and use his discretion to square-up of client open position in all segments as mark-to-market loss reach 90 or 95% of the total deposit with us. Subsequently you shall be informed about the trades executed on your account in the process.
Similarly, in case of loss beyond 95% at anytime, due to very sudden fall in markets, you may utilize the Net Banking Facility and immediately transfer the shortfall. If the short fall is not regularized you shall be required to, immediately, sell securities lying with us as margin and/or lying in your demat account.
Can I place my shares as collateral securities towards margin?
Yes you can, only if the shares are in our approved list. The securities will be valued daily @ 70% of the value calculated based on daily closing prices.
What if I have to convert my transaction from delivery based to intraday trading basis and vise a versa?
You are to specify the type of order, either deliver or Margin (Intraday) at the time of order placing an online order entry. Our system provides you with a facility to convert this order type tag from the pending order list from Margin (Intraday) to Deliver or visa a versa up to 3.15 pm only. Once you change the tag against an order, your exposure and Mark to Market limits will be recalculated.
How do I start trading at Bonanzaonline?
First you should be having PAN Number (This is allotted by Income Tax Department, Government of India). It has been made mandatory by SEBI (Security & Exchange Board of India), for all person/s who transacted on any stock exchange to have PAN Number.
Second, you have to register as a client with Bonanza.
Read the instructions on the Registration form carefully, fill up all the required fields and make sure you attach the required supporting documents. Failure to do so may lead to your application being rejected.
The process of Registration and activation of your account will be completed in around 7 days from the day we receive all your documents.
After an initial deposit has been paid in by you, we will update our database and activate your ID. You shall receive a Well-come communication sent by us through courier.
Ensure that you have viewed our demo session on our web site. Please ensure that the required system and internet connectivity is in place before you logon.
To begin trading, click on the Internet Trading on the www.bonanzaonline.com home page. It is recommended that you carefully read the terms & condition and rules & regulations provided on the logon screen.
Remember that you will have to change the initial password given to you when you log in for the first time.
Can shares of any company be traded?
We will be offering trading facilities in scrips which are in compulsory demat and for those shares which allowed to be traded on either NSE or BSE.
Do I get online confirmation on orders and trades?
As soon as an order is placed on the exchange, you will get an online confirmation that the order has been accepted by the exchange.
Similarly on execution of the order a trade will be generated at the exchange and the confirmation of the trade will be broadcasted on your screen.
Simultaneously, a soft copy of the contract note will also be automatically sent to your e-mail address electronically by our system, within 24 hours of the execution of trade, containing all the details of the trade executed.
How do I know the status of my orders?
You can view the status of all orders whether executed or not from the order book. Executed orders can also be viewed in the Trade Book.
Can I modify/cancel my orders?
Yes you can modify/cancel unexecuted or partially executed orders on line.
Can I view and save all my trading activities online?
Yes, you can view your entire trading activities for the day, at the trading screen. You can also export save all reports in excel format on your PC online.
When do I need to give shares for pay-in & how would I receive deliver of shares purchased by me?
You need to open a depository account with us and give us Power of Attorney to transfer to and from your account. We shall do needful to fulfill your delivery obligations.
Shares sold by you, have to be credited into your trading Demat account prior to making the sale.
For shares purchased by you on delivery basis, the same will be transferred to your demat account as soon as your corresponding fund pay-in obligation is complete.
When do I need to complete my funds pay-in obligation & how?
Presently Bonanzaonline has a payment gateway arrangement with HDFC Bank, UTI Bank, & ICICI Bank. Under this arrangement if you already have an account with any branch of these banks and the same is linked with your trading account with us, online transfer of funds from your account through our trading platform is possible instantly on the same day.
Incase you do not have a Net Banking Account with HDFC Bank, UTI Bank, or ICICI Bank and are utilising your existing banking facilities, then you will be required to deposit the money in our Account at any branch of HDFC Bank, UTI Bank or ICICI Bank.
You may post the cheque or Demand draft payable at Mumbai so as to ensure that clear funds are available in our account 2 days prior to Pay In.
How and when do I receive the payments from Bonanza in case I sell stocks or make profits from my trading?
Presently Bonanza has a payment gateway arrangement with HDFC Bank, UTI Bank, & ICICI Bank. Under this arrangement if you already have an account with any of the branch of these designated banks and the same is linked with your trading account with us, you will receive credit of funds within 48 hours of our receiving the payout from the exchange.
For customers who have not opened accounts within our designated banks, please note that you will receive cheques payable at Mumbai. Therefore, it is advisable to open accounts with our designated banks who offer net banking facilities, to ensure timely payments and receipts of funds to and from Bonanza.
